Project Dandelion, a project of Neighborhood Legal Services, brings together community and legal support for families and individuals who want to make it off public assistance and out of poverty.

There is no charge for any Project Dandelion service which includes attending our trainings, being part of our weekly legal seminars, or getting our bi-monthly newsletter.

Listen as we provide information on topics such as the new welfare reform laws, child care, work requirements, budgeting, voluntary quit, etc.

These trainings -

teach individuals how to get off and stay off of public assistance. We do this by:

• Teaching advocacy skills
• Teaching individuals how to determine goals
• Providing legal information
• Helping with budgeting strategies and giving tips to help achieve self-sufficiency
• Project Dandelion also provides training to community service agencies about programs, benefits and services that will help their clients become self-sufficient.
